A relatively new trail in the Annapurna region, so still slightly off the beaten track…just what I like.
I decided to do this as a last minute trek a week after I’d finished EBC and I’m really glad that I did. Completely different to the Khumbu region this is a lot softer and I guess ‘prettier’. We did battle with chasing the clouds and the rain. Whilst you think this wouldn’t be too nice whilst trekking, it actually gave off a really cool misty and eerie look. Enjoy these few snaps of my time among the mist and the pink flowers…

Dropped off at the side of the road, ready for the start of this trek
Not too far from Australian Camp
Who put those zillions of steps there! This was me straight after I’d reached the top…
Ya gotta keep laughing!
Heading to our home for the first night
Welcome to Forest Camp.
Having a snuggle with my new friend
And here we go again for another day.
The skies weren’t so clear as when I did EBC, but the fog made it looked so beautiful and mysterious.
…across the mountains.
There she is…’Fishtail’ Mountain
Starting to walk above the clouds…
…amongst these beauties.
Mardi Himal this way folks.
I loved the colour of the flowers in front of the white of the snow topped mountains…
…see what I mean.
Our final morning…the clouds were coming in fast so I had to run to get to the top before the mountains would be hidden for the day
View point…this would be as far as I would go because the clouds came in. Look how eerily beautiful it is up here.
Taking some time to once again appreciate just how incredible these mountains are, and how lucky I am to have shared some moments with them.
Pretty nice eh.
